A major 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out on September 21, which means you will have five days to start a new playthrough of the game before the release of Phantom Liberty on September 26. Of course, in five days, you won’t be able to complete the game in its entirety, but remember that you can start Phantom Liberty after completing the Bridget and Voodoo Boys main storyline.
Here are the main highlights of 2.0 according to CDPR’s own review:

- Redesigned cyberspace and new ability system
- Vehicle combat and chases
- Improved enemy AI
- New police system
- Enhanced user interface and user experience
- Changes in loot, items, and crafting

To clarify, existing saves will work in version 2.0, but you will need to redistribute ability points and adapt to all the changes in the gameplay.
