CD Projekt RED has confirmed that they will release a complete edition of Cyberpunk 2077 in the future. The exact title of the re-release is not yet known. This announcement follows a similar move by the studio with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so fans should not be surprised.
During a Q&A session with investors, Marcin Iwiński, the co-founder of CDPR, was asked about the possibility of a Game of the Year edition for Cyberpunk 2077. He responded:
We don’t know the title yet for the new edition, whether it will be a collector’s edition or not, but when the time comes, we will announce it. We took some time with “The Witcher 3,” but we don’t want to compare them because we may take a new, different approach this time. We have some intentions, but it’s not the right time to discuss them yet.
In addition, CDPR revealed that 25 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 have been sold worldwide. They also mentioned that the game’s sequel, known as Project Orion, is currently in the conceptual design phase.
