Instead, on early Saturday morning, Bluesky portrayed the incident as a one-off occurrence that was promptly resolved.
“On Wednesday, users reported an account with a slur as its handle. This violated our community guidelines, and it was our mistake that allowed it to be created,” the company stated. “Within 40 minutes of being reported, the account was taken down, and the code responsible for this was fixed.”
