Blue Origin is set to make another attempt at its first launch in 15 months with New Shepard’s 24th mission scheduled for Tuesday. The launch was postponed on Monday due to a ground system issue. The launch window for today opens at 11:37AM ET, and you can watch the webcast 20 minutes before the launch. Watch the launch below.
The mission, which is unmanned, carries 33 payloads, with over half of them developed by NASA. The remaining payloads come from K-12 schools, universities, and STEAM-centric organizations. Additionally, the manifest includes 38,000 student postcards from the Club for the Future initiative.
In September 2022, the Federal Aviation Administration grounded New Shepard after an unsuccessful unmanned launch attempt. The booster experienced a failure after takeoff, but it successfully separated from the capsule. While the capsule made a safe parachute landing, the booster was destroyed upon impact in a designated hazard area.
