Waiting for PAX West, where the PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be presented, Larian Studios has announced that they are working on Patch 2 – a major update that will bring numerous improvements and optimizations to the game.
“Patch 2 is just around the corner,” Larian began on social media, listing its main features. According to the company, the second “major patch”:
includes significant performance improvements, numerous new tweaks and changes, and also begins our journey of incorporating feedback into the epilogues of original characters and other important things. We will provide full information about the second patch in the near future.
Considering that Larian is quite open and listens to players’ suggestions, it can be confidently assumed that in the future Act 3 will be improved not only in terms of optimization, but also in terms of the things that players were missing. Among them, for example, a positive ending with Karlach and more opportunities in romance.
