Bakers Dedicate Over 400 Hours Crafting an Authentic Bread Clicker from The Last of Us

A bakery in California has crafted an incredibly lifelike and awe-inspiring bread sculpture of the Clicker.

One House Bakery in Benicia, as ‍reported by Eater San Francisco, has created a bread sculpture of the Clicker,⁢ one of the infected ⁢enemies from the popular game series The Last of Us by Naughty Dog. The sculpture was made by Catherine and Hanneli Pervan, a mother-daughter duo who also co-own the bakery.

If you’re not familiar with the Clicker, it represents one of the ⁤stages of infection caused by the Cordyceps fungus in The Last⁣ of Us⁢ game. As time goes on,‌ the Clicker loses its sight, gains heightened hearing, and emits rapid clicking ⁢sounds.⁢ In‌ simpler terms,‌ it’s not the type of infection you’d want to come across in a post-apocalyptic world.

In an article‌ by SF Chronicle, it’s mentioned that the team spent over ‌400 hours creating this ⁢masterpiece, which ⁣involved inflating dough-coated balloons to form the visible mushrooms on the sculpture.
