Rumors are swirling that Apple is gearing up to reveal its highly-anticipated new iPhones, watches, and AirPods next month, a move that could be a game-changer for the tech giant’s recent sales performance.
According to Bloomberg, the event is set for September 10, with the new iPhone 16 expected to hit stores just 10 days later.
While details remain scarce, reports suggest that the new iPhones won’t be a drastic departure from previous models, but the Pro versions will feature larger screens and innovative camera functions, including a dedicated photo button.
Additionally, Apple is said to be introducing a suite of artificial intelligence tools known as Apple Intelligence.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is rumored to undergo significant changes, with larger screens and slimmer cases, while noise cancellation will be added to the mid-tier AirPods wireless earbuds.
The timing of the release is strategic, as a surge in sales is expected during Apple’s fourth fiscal quarter, potentially boosting growth by 5% compared to the previous year.
Earlier this year, Apple faced a decline in new smartphone activations, dropping from 40% to 33% of U.S. sales, according to Forbes.
