The latest box office forecasts for “Marvel” give bleak predictions for the <a href="https://news.ad-astra.icu/movies-coming-in-2022-from-marvel-netflix-dc-and-more.html” title=”Movies Coming in 2022 From Marvel, Netflix, DC and More”>upcoming film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even placing it far behind “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”.
According to the new box office forecasts from Box Office Pro, the upcoming November 10 release of “Marvel” has already encountered potential problems: its initial domestic premiere is expected to earn between $50 to $75 million, which is less than half of the $153.4 million earned by “Captain Marvel” in 2019. Furthermore, the film’s forecasts are exacerbated by pre-ticket sales lagging behind 69% compared to the pace of “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” and 72% behind “Ant-Man and the Wasp”.
“Quantumania” earned $476 million with a budget of $200 million and is considered a failure. At least $275 million was spent on “Marvel”. However, it is not excluded that “Marvel” may surprise everyone and surpass these bleak forecasts regarding its November 9 premiere.
