Razer is giving a sneak peek of two new Blade laptops, set to be officially unveiled at CES 2024. The company claims that the new Razer Blade 16 will feature the world’s first 16-inch 240Hz OLED panel, while the updated Razer Blade 18 will come with an 18-inch 4K 165Hz panel. Pricing and full specifications have not been disclosed yet, but Razer will provide more details next week in Las Vegas.
The new Razer Blade 16 aims to enhance the display of last year’s model, which was already impressive. Razer states that the OLED panel in the 2024 version was co-developed by Samsung Display. Along with its QHD+ resolution and 240Hz refresh rate, it boasts a 0.2ms response time and is VESA Certified ClearMR 11000, a standard that evaluates motion blur based on the ratio of clear to blurry pixels. The panel offers a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and its black levels are expected to be remarkable with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
