On Tuesday, Nintendo released a 10-minute preview of the highly anticipated sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). The video showcased new abilities, the Sky Islands that Link can ascend to, and the enemies he will face in Hyrule. TotK is set to release on May 12 for the Nintendo Switch. The game expands on many aspects of its predecessor, including better traversal via vehicles and new vertical exploration. It also retains the open-world setting and combat mechanics of BotW. Despite the return of weapon degradation, players can look forward to new abilities that will make the game more enjoyable.
