In a‍ recent ⁣podcast with Videogamer portal, ⁤Larry Kuperman, the Director of Business Development at Nightdive Studios, expressed interest in remaking the original Deus Ex game from 2000. ‍He also mentioned the ⁢possibility of working on updated versions of Outlaws (1997) and⁣ Arx⁤ Fatalis, showing the studio’s openness to reviving ⁢classic titles.

As of the end of 2022, the⁣ rights ⁤to Deus Ex now belong ⁢to the⁤ Embracer Group. Reports indicate that Embracer does not have plans to continue the Deus Ex series in ‌their future projects.

The last game in ‌the Deus Ex series, Mankind Divided, was released in 2016 and received positive reviews. However, sales figures fell short of expectations⁤ for Square Enix, the game’s‌ publisher.
