Auction activity has remained stable‌ this weekend with 1,902 auctions‍ scheduled.

This is almost the same as last week’s 1,902 auctions and a slight increase from the 1,739 auctions held ⁢at this time ⁢last year.

Based on current results, CoreLogic’s report shows ⁤a preliminary clearance rate of ‌72.9% ⁤nationwide, slightly lower than ​last week’s 74.4%‌ but significantly higher than⁢ the final rate of⁤ 66.2%.

In ⁤the capital cities:

Sydney:⁤ 469 out of 657 auctions with ‍a preliminary clearance rate of 78.3%

Melbourne: 603 out of 849 auctions with a preliminary clearance rate of 69.8%

Brisbane: 106 out of ⁤168 auctions with ‌a preliminary clearance rate of 71.7%

Adelaide: 72 out of 135 auctions with​ a preliminary clearance rate of 76.4%

Canberra: 49 out of 49 auctions with a preliminary clearance rate of 63.3%

Tasmania: One out of two ⁢auctions held.

Perth: Ten out ⁢of ⁣15 ‌auctions ⁤held.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers will speak on the domestic and international economy⁣ at the Lowy Institute on Wednesday.
