As the turn-based RPG approaches its first anniversary in late April with Version 2.1, it delves deeper into the Trailblaze Missions set in Penacony. The crew of the Astral Express has already explored Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI’s Belobog, and the Xianzhou Luofu, and now, the Planet of Festivities offers players a completely new experience.
With the progression through Penacony, it’s natural to wonder how much of the story is already planned. In an interview with Screen Rant, the game’s developers provided insight into the roadmap for the popular RPG. They revealed that while they have “detailed plans” for the future, there is still room for changes to the story of the Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail.
According to the developers, “the overall storyline and core plot will remain relatively stable to ensure that players can experience a complete and consistent narrative.” This suggests that most of the adventures led by the Trailblazer and the Astral Express are already outlined.
