For the past few days, I’ve been immersed in The Future™.
Well, it really depends on which version of The Future™ you’re talking about:
- There’s the hardware-focused concept that Android enthusiasts have been anticipating, where innovative phone designs promise enhanced productivity.
- Then there’s the software-driven vision of The Future™, with AI advancements propelling us to new heights.
I’ve been exploring both realms. But one stands out above the rest. (Sorry, AI magic.)
I’ve been on a thrilling journey with Google’s latest Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone — also known as the Pixel Fold 2 among Android fans after last year’s initial folding Pixel release.
If you’re not familiar with my work, let me give you some context: I have a unique perspective on this unconventional Pixel experience. I’ve used Pixels since day one in 2016 and had various Google Nexus devices before that. After spending time with last year’s first-gen Pixel Fold and testing other new Pixel 9 models, I transitioned to this loaner from Google two weeks ago.
This latest adventure with a folding Pixel has been eye-opening for two conflicting reasons that have left me intrigued.
