Techland has just released the biggest firearms update for Dying Light 2. This update is being hailed as “the studio’s most ambitious update” to date.
With this update, firearms are now a part of the game. Players who log in before March 7th will receive the Harran pistol for free. To unlock more firearms-related gifts, complete the “Lost Arsenal” quest, meet Jay, the Observer, and uncover their reappearance in Villedor. The update introduces four types of firearms, each with its own unique ammunition:
- Pistols - your go-to personal weapon for unexpected situations;
- Submachine guns – high firepower for close combat;
- Rifles – the perfect balance of accuracy and power;
- Shotguns – essential for close-range combat and crowd control.
Build your reputation with the new Agent to access more firearms (details in the “Survivor Missions” section). Keep in mind that while powerful, firearms are still rare in Villedor, so use them wisely and scavenge for ammunition.
