Get ready for the full release of the thrilling first-person shooter Starship Troopers: Extermination on October 11! Publisher Knights Peak and developer Offworld Industries have announced that the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. Both physical and digital versions will be up for grabs.
Starship Troopers: Extermination initially debuted in early access on Steam for PC on May 17, 2023.
Casper Van Dien, known for his role in the 1997 film “Starship Troopers,” will reprise his iconic character Johnny Rico in the game. Players can look forward to a new single-player mode in the 1.0 launch, featuring fresh enemies, locations, and more.
The single-player mode offers 25 missions where players, as part of the Mobile Infantry, follow the orders of General John “Johnny” Rico. With the assistance of three original ally NPCs, players must showcase their courage in battles against enemy arachnids to earn their spot in the elite special forces unit.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is a cooperative FPS that immerses you in intense bug warfare on distant planets. Join forces with your squad, arm yourself, and fight as a top soldier of the Deep Space Vanguard to reclaim planets from the Arachnid threat.
