Cyberpunk 2077 offers players the chance to explore the gritty world of Night City. The Phantom Liberty expansion introduced Dogtown, a tourist spot turned combat zone, but there’s still room for further development. One area that could add depth to the game is the expansion of wealthier areas like North Oak in Night City.
While Corpos do reside in Night City and players can visit upper-class establishments, much of the game’s content delves into the city’s seedy underbelly. Mercenaries scramble for jobs, trying to escape a life of gang crime, exemplified by V’s friend Jackie Welles.
North Oak, the newest part of Night City, was previously a site of temporary refugee camps and favelas. The area was cleared by force to create a home for the elite, including rockstar Kerry Eurodyne and the Arasaka Estate.
Despite being free from poverty and gangs, there is still potential to expand upon this wealthy district and showcase a different side of life in the city.
