Uncertainty Looms Over British Army as Injured Horses Stray from Duty

The army has indicated that it is too early to determine the ‌fate of⁤ two military horses that sustained severe injuries ⁢while running loose in London.

During an exercise in Belgravia, seven horses⁢ and six soldiers⁤ from the Household‌ Cavalry were startled by construction activity, leading to chaos.

Following ‍the incident,​ ambulance crews attended to multiple injuries⁣ caused⁢ by the loose horses colliding with​ vehicles in various locations.

Two ⁢of the injured horses, Vida and ​Quaker, ⁤underwent⁣ surgery and are⁢ receiving specialized care, while the soldiers are expected to fully recover.

The army remains⁣ hopeful for the horses’ recovery ⁢but acknowledges that their return to duty is uncertain at this stage.

The army is exploring rehoming options for the ​horses if they are ‌unable​ to return to active ‌duty, with ​offers from various organizations ⁣and individuals.

The Horse Trust, a renowned equine charity, is among⁣ those willing to provide a sanctuary for the horses if needed.

Despite ⁢the challenges, the army ⁣remains committed to the well-being ⁣of its animals and personnel, ensuring the highest⁢ standards‌ of care.
