Warner Bros. has surprised gamers by offering a 40% discount on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, just a month after its release on Steam. Despite the use of Denuvo protection and the lack of an offline mode, the game has failed to gain traction.
However, this steep discount may not be enough to salvage the game’s reputation as a flop. Typically, such significant discounts are only seen when publishers have given up on a project. It’s no wonder, as the game’s online player count has been consistently low, with only around 400 players, compared to the six times more popular predecessor, Batman: Arkham Knight.
In contrast, Hogwarts: Legacy, another game from the same publisher, only received a 20% discount six months after its release during a summer sale.
