Cyberpunk 2077‘s Phantom Liberty DLC introduced a wide range of new weapons to the dangerous world of Night City. While many of these weapons are not particularly unique, some of the new Iconic weapons are incredibly powerful, devastatingly deadly, and simply cool. These Iconic weapons, along with those from the base game, represent the best of V’s arsenal, and while they are all deadly, some are cooler than others.
The Phantom Liberty DLC by CD Projekt RED is an amazing expansion to the base game of Cyberpunk 2077. The thrilling spy-thriller storyline and all the accompanying content make Phantom Liberty a must-have for fans of the game. Among the entertaining quests, immersive gameplay, and numerous other fantastic features, one of the standout highlights of the Phantom Liberty DLC is the expanded selection of powerful and cool weapons. While some of these weapons are even cooler than the ones in the base game, not all of them are worth the time and effort to obtain.

In the lore of the Phantom Liberty DLC in Cyberpunk 2077, the Iconic machete known as Volkodav was part of a special Techtronika weapon series that was banned due to humanitarian concerns – a reasonable decision considering the weapon’s Iconic modifier. Volkodav gives V the ability to inflict a unique burn on every enemy it touches; additionally, striking an enemy affected by Volkodav’s burn will deal Critical Damage. The Volkodav, an Iconic variant of the Razor, can be obtained in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty during the side gig “Waiting for Dodger” where it can be found in the Police Station.
One of the top precision rifles in Cyberpunk 2077, the Widow Maker is an Iconic version of the Militech M-179e Achilles. With its blueish hue, light blue accents, and a Wraith decal on the receiver, the Widow Maker is one of the most beautifully designed weapons in the game. Beyond its aesthetics, the Widow Maker’s Iconic modifier ensures its lethality. The Widow Maker fires an extra projectile in a hexagonal pattern with each shot. It also deals 10% extra damage with charged shots, or an additional 50% when fully charged. Furthermore, the Widow Maker’s damage type is Chemical, giving it an increased chance of poisoning enemies.
