The AI industry has surpassed the “move fast” phase of its development and has now entered the phase where it “breaks things” – including society! Since the launch of ChatGPT in November, generative AI systems have become extremely popular, being used in various fields such as machine coding, industrial applications, game design, and virtual entertainment. Unfortunately, it has also been misused for activities like spam email operations and creating deepfakes.
Given that this technological genie cannot be put back in the bottle, it is crucial that we start regulating it.
