During their adventures in Baldur’s Gate 3, the party’s characters progress from level one novices to formidable level 12 adventurers. For gameplay reasons, all the Origin characters start at level one to allow customization of their skills for each playthrough. This is even justified in-game, with characters mentioning that they were more powerful before their tadpole. However, in terms of lore, their levels should be much higher, considering their lives prior to the events of the game. Some characters should have reached higher levels than they do by the end of Baldur’s Gate 3.
