Nintendo has finally revealed its highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition OLED Switch. While it may not be the Switch Pro upgrade that many players have been waiting for, it is still an impressive special edition console and one of the best-looking ones released in recent years.
The Tears of the Kingdom Switch features gold Joy-Con controllers with subtle green and white patterns painted on them, and a white dock with a golden Triforce design in the center. The best part is that there is no logo, just pure aesthetics. The console will be released separately from the game and will be available on April 28, a few weeks ahead of the game’s release.
Nintendo has been producing several collector’s edition variants of the Switch lately. In addition to the Tears of the Kingdom edition, there have been Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Monster Hunter, Splatoon, and Pokémon editions. Earlier this month, Nintendo released a Mario edition that came with a free game.
