A tragic incident unfolded in Perth, Australia, where police were forced to fatally shoot a teenage boy who had stabbed a man, with authorities suspecting links to terrorism.
Reports suggest the 16-year-old, armed with a kitchen knife, had been influenced by online radicalization, as stated by Western Australia province’s Premier Roger Cook.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was attacked in a parking lot in Willetton, prompting concerned calls from the local Muslim community before the assault. Fortunately, the man is in stable condition at a hospital.
During a press conference, Premier Cook emphasized that the perpetrator acted alone in the attack.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, briefed by law enforcement and intelligence agencies, assured the public that there is no ongoing threat following the incident.

Despite attempts to subdue him with tasers, the boy was ultimately shot by a police officer after failing to comply.
