During its Surface event on Thursday, Microsoft introduced the Surface Laptop Go 3. The company claims that this latest model will have a battery life of up to 15 hours on a single charge. It will also be incredibly thin, measuring only 0.62 inches, and lightweight, weighing just under 2.5 pounds.
The Surface Laptop Go 3 features a 12.4-inch touchscreen with a 3:2 ratio, a resolution of 1536 x 1024, and a brightness of 320 nits. At first glance, the bezel appears to be similar to previous versions.
In terms of performance, Microsoft states that the Surface Laptop Go 3 is 88 percent faster than the original model released three years ago. It is equipped with a 12th-gen Intel Core i5 CPU and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Users can configure it with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage (512GB in the commercial version).
Additionally, the Surface Laptop Go 3 includes a 720p HD front-facing camera, a fingerprint power button, dual far-field Studio Mics, and Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio. For connectivity, it offers a USB-C 3.2 port for various purposes.
