On February 2, the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was released, but reviews are still surfacing due to Warner Bros. and Rocksteady withholding review copies from journalists.
It seems the publisher and developers anticipated poor reviews, but they probably never imagined the game would score below 60 points, which is considered exceptionally bad in today’s review standards. Even the heavily criticized Warner Bros. game, Gotham Knights, managed to score 67 points.
The game’s average rating on Metacritic and Opencritic has plummeted to 59 points, making it one of the worst AAA releases in the current console generation. The average user score also dropped to 3.7 points, placing the game at the 598th position out of 636 games in the current console generation, including low-budget indies.
