Sudanese siblings under fire for orchestrating a relentless wave of cyber assaults

Recently unsealed grand jury documents have uncovered a⁢ shocking plot by two Sudanese nationals⁣ to carry out⁤ numerous distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks on global systems.⁣ These attacks were allegedly intended to inflict‌ severe financial, technical, and even physical harm on government entities, companies, and other targets.

The US Department of Justice⁢ (DoJ) has brought charges⁤ against Ahmed‌ Salah Yousif ‍Omer⁤ and Alaa‍ Salah Yusuuf Omer following federal grand⁤ jury indictments. The duo is accused of orchestrating over 35,000 DDoS attacks on a wide range of organizations, websites, and networks as ‍part ⁢of a “hacktivism” campaign under the banner ⁤of Anonymous Sudan. They also reportedly offered cyberattack services for⁣ profit.
