Sony Interactive Entertainment is gearing up for a major launch: God of War Ragnarok will be hitting PC on September 19th through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Originally released on PlayStation 4 and 5 in November 2022, this game quickly captured the hearts of critics and players alike. Despite narrowly missing out on the “Game of the Year” title at the Game Awards, it remained incredibly popular, overshadowed only by Elden Ring.
Developers have gone all out for the PC version of God of War Ragnarok, introducing significant enhancements. Players can expect support for stunning 4K resolution with uncapped frame rates and ultra-wide aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9. Cutting-edge technologies like Nvidia DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1, Intel XeSS 1.2 for scaling, as well as Nvidia Reflex for minimizing input lag are also part of the package.
DLSS 3 brings a substantial performance boost to titles like God of War Ragnarok, Final Fantasy XVI, Dead Rising Remaster, and Enotria The Last Song.
Furthermore, the PC release will include the Valhalla DLC. However, it’s important to note that access may be restricted in around 180 countries where creating a PlayStation Network account is not possible. The new trailer released alongside this announcement is filled with glowing reviews praising the exceptional quality of this game.
