The default ‍way to scan a document with an iPhone lives within iOS’ native​ Notes app. Open it and open‌ a new note.⁢ Tap the camera⁣ icon on ‌the bottom menu‍ bar, tap Scan ⁢Documents and then hold your‌ phone to frame the document you want to scan.
