Remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code Veronica are currently in development at Capcom, according to a well-known insider.
A few minutes ago, the well-known insider Dusk Golem visited site X to talk about the Resident Evil series and shared some interesting details about rumors of a remake of the original Resident Evil. Additionally, he mentioned that remakes of Code Veronica and Zero are in development as well.
The remake of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica is currently in development. “I’ve spoken about this with many others behind the scenes at this point, it’s what I heard over a year ago, and I feel it should be out there whether I was the one to say it or not, and that’s all.
As for the rumors of a Resident Evil 1 remake that surfaced earlier this month, the insider wrote that, as far as he knows, it’s not happening.
Rumors about a RE:1 remake are complete nonsense, as far as I know, RE:1 is currently not in development at all.
