Nvidia and Softbank Corp have joined forces to launch the world’s pioneering 5G
At the recent Nvidia AI Summit held in Japan, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang and SoftBank Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son unveiled the innovative AI-RAN (radio access network) that integrates both AI and 5G capabilities seamlessly.
This groundbreaking network is poised to revolutionize telecom services by enabling concurrent processing of AI and 5G workloads, paving the way for new revenue streams for telecommunications providers as highlighted in a blogpost on Nvidia’s website.
Son emphasized that this intelligent network will serve as a neural brain connecting various components to enhance infrastructure intelligence across Japan.
