YouTube has introduced an innovative tool called “Erase Song” that utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to selectively remove copyrighted music from videos while keeping other audio elements intact.
Neil Mohan, CEO of YouTube, unveiled this new feature on the X social network, highlighting its ability to easily eliminate copyrighted music without affecting the overall audio of the video.
One of the key advantages of this tool is its capability to preserve dialogue and sound effects, enabling content creators to address copyright concerns without compromising the video’s quality.
Although the technology may not be flawless and could unintentionally remove other audio components, especially in complex compositions, YouTube provides alternative editing options like muting specific parts or deleting them entirely.
