Meta is currently experimenting with new features for Threads, responding to user requests for more capabilities on the social network. One of the features being tested is the ability to save drafts. Users will have the option to save a post they’ve written as a draft, which they can later edit and publish by swiping down on their mobile device’s display. When a draft is saved, the post icon in the app’s menu at the bottom of the screen will be highlighted. Currently, users can only save one draft, and it’s uncertain if Meta plans to allow more drafts in the future.
Aside from drafts, Meta is also trialing an in-app camera. This feature allows users to access their phone’s camera directly from Threads, making it easier to share photos and videos. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg even shared a photo taken with the new in-app camera on the platform.
