Aspyr’s Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection has brought the acclaimed 2000s-era Star Wars: Battlefront games to modern devices, remastering the wealth of content from the base games and incorporating many bonus elements such as characters and levels. This complete package is designed for both newcomers and experienced players to enjoy.
In addition to two bonus playable characters, Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto, the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will feature maps that were previously only available via DLC exclusive to Xbox Live or patches on PC. This marks the first time these maps will be available on PlayStation and Nintendo devices, introducing new locations to explore and conquer.
One of these maps, Yavin 4: Arena, is set in a clearing in the forest and involves battling in an ancient arena located in its center, alongside various other ruins. Originally only available on Star Wars: Battlefront and on Star Wars: Battlefront 2 via Xbox-exclusive DLC, this map features five total Command Posts situated at strategic locations, providing an engaging and dynamic gameplay experience.
Another map, Rhen Var: Citadel, is a medium-sized map set on the Outer Rim’s ice world of Rhen Var, where the Great Sith War was fought approximately 4,000 years before the fall of the Republic. This map offers a unique and immersive setting for players to engage in thrilling battles and strategic campaigns.
With the addition of these bonus maps, players can look forward to new and exciting experiences in the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, making it a must-have for fans of the franchise.
