Patreon creators now have the option to interact with fans through a new group chat feature. This community chat allows creators to engage with their fans and also enables subscribers to communicate with each other outside of comments. Creators can have up to four simultaneous chats and can set restrictions on who can participate. For example, a creator can limit a specific chat to certain subscriber tiers.
Currently, Patreon group chats are only available on the mobile app, but the company is working on a desktop version.
