The director of the 1994 original “The Crow” has hilariously criticized Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal in the remake.
“Looks like Eric Draven is having a rough hair day. Well, onto the next reboot. It seems we’ve got a rebel on our hands with all those tattoos, werewolves, and skulls on the jacket. I had a good chuckle at these images. For a moment, I almost thought they were going to disrespect Brandon Lee’s legacy.” – the director commented
Supporters echoed the director’s sentiments, deeming Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal in the remake as excessively flamboyant and nonsensical. The remake was helmed by Rupert Sanders and scripted by Zak Baylin. The film is scheduled to debut on June 7.
