Life of Prigozhin, Leader of the Wagner Mercenary Group, Captured Through Images

On ‍August 23, a private ⁢jet crashed in Russia, resulting in the death of all 10 individuals on board.

Among ⁤the passengers ⁤was⁤ Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group mercenaries. However, ‌it remains⁢ unclear⁤ whether he was actually on the plane.

Since Prigozhin’s failed rebellion against Russia’s⁤ military leadership in late‍ June, there has been much speculation⁤ about his fate.

Initially,⁤ the Kremlin announced that the founder of the Wagner private military company, which had fought alongside the regular Russian army in Ukraine, would be exiled to Belarus.

However, Prigozhin has reportedly resurfaced in Russia, ‍raising further questions about his future.

This week, Prigozhin released a recruitment video, the first since the rebellion, in which he stated that Wagner is engaged in reconnaissance and search operations, aiming to ”make Russia even greater on all ‍continents, ‌and Africa even more free”.
