The petition, initiated by Shimidzu Toru, highlights concerns about the historical accuracy and cultural respect portrayed in the upcoming game. Titled “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” the game focuses on Japanese samurais but fails to acknowledge their true historical roles. This oversight not only misrepresents samurais but also disrespects Japanese culture. The petition emphasizes the importance of accurate representation and urges Ubisoft to conduct thorough research before releasing the game.
