Reports from the Palestinian news agency Wafa indicate that Israeli airstrikes in southern Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least five Palestinians and left dozens injured.
According to Wafa, the attacks targeted Rafah and Khan Younis on Monday, causing injuries to around 30 individuals.

Approximately half of Gaza’s 2.3 million inhabitants sought refuge in Rafah before the recent assault, with a million individuals fleeing the region since then, according to the United Nations.
Israel recently intensified its offensive in central Gaza near Deir el-Balah, the remaining populated area yet to be targeted. While some Israeli forces have withdrawn from certain locations, airstrikes and shelling persist in the region.
