Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Lebanon Amid Escalating Cross-Border Tensions

Recent ‌military actions ‍in southern Lebanon ⁢have⁢ intensified as the ⁣Israeli military targeted numerous locations, while‌ Hezbollah retaliated by launching rockets at an Israeli​ border ​village.

The Israeli military conducted strikes in ⁤Aita al-Shaab, located approximately 3km inside Lebanon, hitting about ⁢40 targets, including storage facilities and​ weapons used by Hezbollah forces.

Reports indicate that Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of around 250 ‍Hezbollah fighters‌ in Lebanon, with⁣ additional casualties​ in neighboring Syria, while civilian casualties have also been reported⁢ on both sides.

Hezbollah mourned the loss of ‌senior commander Hussein Azkoul, praising his contributions to ⁣the group’s⁣ technological advancements and ⁤strategic ⁣initiatives against Israel during a‍ funeral ceremony.

Following a drone ‍attack⁢ by Hezbollah on Israeli military bases near Acre, Israel responded with further airstrikes, escalating tensions in⁤ the⁤ region.
