Introducing the Xbox Series S in Carbon Black with 1TB Storage

Microsoft‌ has released a⁢ new version of the digital-only Xbox Series S in ‍a⁤ bold “Carbon Black” color. This new‌ console ⁢comes with twice⁤ the available storage, ⁣1TB ‌compared to⁢ the⁤ standard 512GB found in other SKUs.⁣ It is⁤ priced at $350 and features the same matte finish⁣ as the more ⁢expensive Series X. Additionally, it comes with an⁢ official Xbox Wireless Controller. The console was initially teased at the Summer Games Fest in June and is now⁣ available at various brick-and-mortar and digital retailers.

The ⁣major highlight of ⁤this new console is⁣ the increased‌ hard‍ drive ⁣space. ⁤Since the Series S does not accept physical ⁤media, the hard drive is the only storage ⁢option. Previous versions ‌were limited to 512GB, ‍which often proved to be insufficient. With the new 1TB⁣ storage, users can now accommodate around seven or eight high-profile games, along with plenty of⁣ other ⁤content.
