Guide to Defeating Drya Thornne, the Boss in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players will encounter a new enemy known as Humanoid Drya Thornne, who serves as the 6th boss battle in the mid-stages of the campaign. This boss fight presents new challenges for players to overcome. Drya Thornne is the main boss that players will face on the Shattered Moon while attempting to research Tanalorr in a main quest. To increase their chances of success in boss battles, players can improve their max health in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

After defeating The Reprogrammed Magnaguard on the Shattered Moon, players will continue their search for research until they reach a set of platforms at the top of the structure. Upon finding a shortcut across one of these top platforms, players will enter a room where only one item can be interacted with. Once players have picked up the device, a short cut-scene will occur, and Drya Thornne will appear behind them, initiating the boss fight.

Drya Thornne uses the Crossguard stance for his lightsaber, which means that in close quarters, he can perform slower but more powerful attacks that can quickly deal a lot of damage to the player. Out of all the lightsaber stances in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Crossguard is the strongest but also the slowest.

This is the first time players will face an enemy using the Crossguard stance, which was first introduced in the Star Wars films by Kylo Ren. Most of Drya Thornne’s close quarters attacks will be three-hit combos, but he also has an overhead attack in his arsenal.

Players need to be aware of Drya Thornne’s final attacks, which are ranged. Drya Thornne has a blaster and will also throw grenades at players that can be thrown back, causing the boss to be stunned. A red circle will appear around grenades, giving players plenty of time to move out of the danger area or to use a Force Push to send it back his way. This blaster attack should pose little problem for players as he uses it infrequently, and shots can easily be blocked.
