The Day Before was a highly anticipated zombie shooter game that finally launched on Steam on December 7th. However, it received widespread criticism for not delivering the promised MMO experience, as well as for its numerous bugs, lack of originality, and intentionally slow in-game progress. Just four days after its release, Fntastic, the studio behind the game, announced its sudden closure due to financial failure. Despite selling over 200,000 copies before refunds, the $40 game was unable to sustain itself, according to PC Gamer.
