Capcom has made a permanent price reduction for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Following the highly acclaimed release of the full remake of Resident Evil 4 last year, Capcom has decided to make the game even more accessible to players by lowering its price.
In early February, Capcom unveiled the complete edition of the updated version of the iconic horror game featuring Leon S. Kennedy, which was officially released on February 9. The Gold Edition includes the base game, as well as the Separate Ways and The Merceneries expansions, and the Extra DLC Pack.
To coincide with the launch of the expanded edition, Capcom has reduced the price of the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Just a few days ago, the digital stores were selling the remake for around $70, but now the game is available for $39-49:
- Resident Evil 4 Remake – $39.99 in the PlayStation Store (PS5/PS4 version)
- Resident Evil 4 Remake – $39.99 in the Xbox Store (XSX|S version)
- Resident Evil 4 Remake – $39.99 on Steam
The price reduction is in celebration of the release of the Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition last week, which is priced at $49.99:
- Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition (PS5/PS4) – $49.99 in the PlayStation Store
- Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition (XSX|S) – $49.99 in the Xbox Store
- Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition (PC) – $49.99 on Steam
This presents a great opportunity to experience the base version of the updated game, which has garnered high praise and holds a 93 rating on Metacritic.
