A stunning villa owned by Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, the ex-wife of Vladimir Putin, has been seized by the French court. The luxurious property, named “Susanna,” is situated in the charming city of Anglet in southwestern France. This legal action took place on December 6, 2023, but the news has only recently come to light.
Reports from Challenges reveal that the villa currently stands empty. It became the subject of a search during an investigation launched by the Paris prosecutor’s office following a complaint from Transparency International, a prominent anti-corruption NGO.
This magnificent villa, spanning 5000 m² and dating back to 1930, was acquired in December 2013, just six months after Lyudmila and Vladimir Putin finalized their divorce. The property, valued at €5.4 million, is officially owned by Lyudmila’s new spouse, Arthur Ocheretny.
Interestingly, the adjacent villa “Altamira” is reportedly registered to Kirill Shamalov, Lyudmila Ocheretnaya’s former husband and the father of Vladimir Putin’s daughter Katya Tikhonova.
