Half-Life, the legendary video game, is approaching its 25th anniversary, and Valve has just released a significant update for this iconic first-person shooter. One notable addition is the inclusion of Half-Life Uplink in the base game. Although Uplink was originally a demo for Half-Life, most of its content did not make it into the original game.
Previously, Uplink was only available on CDs that were bundled with magazines or hardware like sound cards. It has also been circulating on the internet for those who knew where to find it. However, now players can easily access it by simply clicking the New Game button within Half-Life itself.
In addition to Uplink, Valve has introduced four brand new multiplayer maps. Some of these maps may seem familiar, such as one based on an abandoned Xen outpost and another set at an old orbital satellite launch facility.
