SpaceX is planning to launch Starship for its second test flight on November 17, following clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In April, the company conducted the first fully integrated launch of its next-generation spacecraft, but it did not achieve all of its objectives. One of the goals was to have the upper stage of the spacecraft fly across the Earth and then re-enter the atmosphere, splashing down in the ocean near Hawaii. However, due to an onboard fire that prevented the stages from separating, SpaceX had to intentionally destroy the vehicle in the sky.
