Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 unofficial PC version developers have released a significant update, addressing lighting and reflection issues, as well as other important improvements. Users have reported a dramatic transformation in the game’s graphics with the latest patch.
Highlights of Patch 1.2.0:
- Fixed lighting and reflections for all times of day;
- Resolved black spots/mist in the sky;
- Corrected parallax cube map reflections on buildings;
- Fixed global world lighting;
- Completely resolved Miles’ body shader;
- Improved passability of Mysterio fights and F.E.M. experiments;
- Additional shader fixes.
Additionally, the developers have introduced a special launcher for easier game startup, allowing users to disable debugging data display and adjust various settings. However, some graphical bugs still persist due to missing shaders, which will be addressed in future patches.
