Celebrating a decade of creativity, Hazelight Studios is gearing up for its 10th-anniversary milestone in November. Founded by Josef Fares, the studio teases something exciting in store for fans in 2024.
As we approach November, we reflect on the journey of Hazelight over the past 10 years! The nostalgia hits hard, especially when we recall Josef’s BAFTA win for Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons back in March 2014, paving the way for the birth of Hazelight! Stay tuned for updates on our latest projects coming later this year.
Speculations arise that the big reveal of their next venture might coincide with the studio’s anniversary in November. Alternatively, Fares and his team could unveil their creation grandly at The Game Awards 2024 in December. Fares hinted in an interview that their upcoming title will be a game-changer.
Known for hits like A Way Out in 2018 and the award-winning It Takes Two in 2021, Hazelight Studios has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide. The beloved adventure of May and Cody is even set to expand into a movie and series. However, updates on these adaptations have been scarce since 2022.
Despite the lackluster remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, it’s important to note that Hazelight was not involved in the project’s revamp, which was overseen by Avantgarden Games.
