The artist formerly known as Twitter has been facing controversy this week after Bloomberg discovered that the social media site would begin collecting biometric details, as well as job and education data, from its users. A recently released privacy policy reveals that X will utilize this data, along with other personal information it gathers, to train AI models, as initially observed by Alex Ivanovs at Stackdiary.
The privacy policy explicitly states that the company intends to utilize the information it collects, along with any publicly available data, to assist in training machine learning algorithms.
“We may use the information we collect and publicly available information to help train our machine learning or artificial intelligence models for the purposes outlined in this policy,” states the privacy notice.
